Anet A8 Smooth Rod Bushing Remix
thingiverse
If your smooth rods have punched out the holes in the acrylic frame, you can use this to solve the problem. You need to remove the affected frame parts and clamp them together so the damaged holes are aligned properly. Ream the damaged holes out to 10mm (diameter of the bushing) and push the bushing into the enlarged holes with the flange facing towards the inner surfaces of the frame. If the inner diameter is too tight to insert the rod, you will need to ream it out to 8mm. Use two 8mm locking collars to secure the rods and the bushings in the frame. This should prevent this from happening again in the future. This project was created with Tinkercad.
