Anet a8 universal ramps 1.4 mounting plate with fan stand
cults3d
My original Anet A8 mainboard had finally given up the ghost, so I decided to swap it out with a RAMPS 1.4 board instead. However, mounting it to my printer's case was proving to be a challenge. I had discovered one case on Thingiverse specifically designed for Ramps on an Anet printer, but unfortunately, there were some issues with the cables and operating connectors. Every time I tried to use it, I had to remove the screws from the case. So, I took matters into my own hands and created a universal Anet A8 plate to securely mount my Ramps board, leaving room for future modifications. To keep my new board at a comfortable temperature, I also built an 80mm fan stand, knowing that Ramps require adequate cooling. After putting everything together, I gave it a thorough test - and the results were impressive: it works flawlessly and prints beautifully without any support.
