Anet A8 (wood version) filament guide
thingiverse
The latest Anet A8 plywood edition boasts a 5mm wide support, rendering the filament guides I attempted to use loose and requiring me to stuff them with scraps or paper for stability. A quick version one of a filament guide is designed to sit atop the top rail adjacent to the LCD display, which features a 5mm gap that should provide a snug fit. The slot on this design measures 2mm in width, allowing it to accommodate thicker filaments without any issues. Printing at standard settings takes approximately 35 minutes to complete.
