I have printed these in PLA with 20% infill. You need the closed loop to make this really work. You can see more about this in the [3DLS](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4031698). #I am releasing this into the wild! #Got an idea? Post it as a comment! #Thank you! - Update 11/29/19 First update, changed the bearing holders for increased clearance. All files reloaded. - Update 12/1/19 Printed the parts, ran into an issue. I can't find small enough lock collars. The ones listed work. You really only need one on the motor side. Use the spacer to press against the bearing and collar locking the screw back against the motor. The screw must be locked to prevent it from moving instead of the carriage. See pictures for how, the spacer is teal. I also redesigned the carriage part to use self threading M3 screws. These allow the small amount of movement needed for the screw to fit right. The part has been opened up so the spring for the anti-backlash nut fits through it too. - Update 12/3/19 It's installed! Working out the firmware and system tweaks now. There's about to be a huge update! - Update 12/6/19 Released! All files updated to final versions. See description above for firmware setup notes. - Update 12/7/19 I found the nut on the carriage part hits the side frame when it homes so I switched it to the other side. Carriage Part updated. - Update 12/8/19 Updated the Right Side. Made the holes for the smooth rods deeper by 3.5mm for a little wiggle room. - Update 12/12/19 Updated design for more strength and easier assembly. Now it has separate rod caps so the rods can be slid in and out. Motor mount greatly reinforced.
