I reworked this design to work better as I found some issues with version 1 (namely cooling of the extruder motor and heat retention in general causing warping of the carriage. I wanted a carriage that would dual nozzles. I wanted to keep the stock direct extruder which works well with flexible filament and to keep weight down I went with e3d and a remote extruder. I designed z probe sensors (18mm) to mount on the side closer to the nozzle tips for easier bed leveling. The e3d can be adjusted up and down to get the nozzle alignment right. This carriage uses 16mm polymer bushings. various 2mm and 3mm screw hardware is needed to assemble If anyone is interested in more in more details about assembling this leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can. NOTES: the e3d carrier may need some tweaking for size (especially if you get a clone) The fan nozzle has been re-designed to mount the fan in the back to provide better balance. Once again...drop a line in the comments and I can provide more details and the freecad file if so desired.
