Anet A8 Y Axis Motor Mount Replacement

Anet A8 Y Axis Motor Mount Replacement

thingiverse

I am currently replacing all of the fragile acrylic parts on my Anet A8 with printed parts (681 grams replaced so far including the spool holder). I will have a backup of each part this way, and I will have something that dampens vibrations better than acrylic. Also, I can choose the color. These parts were printed with PLA using 60 infill. They printed out very nicely without having to do much fiddling for them to fit. I was able to put in a cork motor gasket at this time to help with dampening. Please give thanks to Simhopp and tzahov for creating these parts! I assembled them together in one place, and I modified the Y Axis Motor Mount so that the hole near the bottom extends to the bottom ... this allows for easier replacement and moving of wires, if necessary. The original Y Axis Motor Mount is also included, unaltered. Here is a link to the motor gaskets so that you know what I am talking about:http://www.makergeeks.com/ne17stga4pa.html Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 60 Notes: Printed with PLA. These are easy prints as they are flat.
