One of my smooth rods was about 4mm too long. I used this:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2029018 and edited it in 123D Design for my needs. The hole on the bottom is a bigger diameter than the rod for easy printing.. its doesnt need to be perfect fit because the smooth rod is aligned by the acrylic glass.
