UPDATE: V2 constructed small notches into the hinges - now even the heaviest cell phones should be safe in any angle. Yes, yet another Smartphone Dock! All the other docks for a the new Galaxy Edge Series either dont fit right or just big blobs of plastic, so I created my own version, trying to extend the design of the Edge Series. Gravity and the usb cable will hold the Smartphone in place. The caddy is also curved so the finger print sensor can be swiped without problems. Also my Dock is adjustable in the angle and can also get very small in case you want to take it with you on a business trip or vacation. Also the basic design is very simple - just install the usb cable and click the caddy into the dock. the two covers also lock the cable and the connector into place. Custom Section Suggestions I printed the Dock and the Caddy in PLA and the baseplate and backcover in FilaFlex. Assembly Insert the USB-Cable first into the Dock then into the Caddy. Click the Caddy into the Dock and add the baseplate and the backcover. The friction between the hinges is enough to hold the Caddy in every angle - if your Smartphone is heavy and the friction isnt enough just use some sand paper to roughen up the hinges.
