Angle Iron Gauge Block

At my internship, I was asked to reverse engineer this mechanism that is used at the finishing end of the facility. What this does is it uses the air pressure that is fed into the hydraulic cylinder located on the back side, and it discharges the air to raise and lower angle gauges located on the front side of the assembly which check the consistency of the parts at the end of production. The complexity of the part has increased now over time and this is the most up to date version used. Improvements include the use of lubrication inside the interior wear plates and through the main block inside of the assembly, small cylinders welded onto the sides as simple tool holders, and a wear plate made of a rubberized material bolted just above the hydraulic cylinder.
