This angled rail attachment will make it possible for you to mount iron-sights angled, mount your flashlight or laser angled as well, to keep them out of the way.
Purchased a print from shapeways, so I could see how well it would fit, and to take some pictures. I can see now that this is far from a finished design, and can become much easier to print, and make it more strong and durable.
I have now finally finished it! Its now a V2! Sorry to you guys that waited for me to update the model. I originally made it in blender, but it was so much of a pain in the butt, that I just kind of ignored it. Until now where I have my Autodesk Inventor :-D and everything is so easy to make compared, to blender xD
Hope you find this thing useful :-)
The Version 1 (V1) does not have a proper locking mechanism. I kept it on if someone still would like to have a download available.
If you would like me to make any changes, just comment on this thing :-)
Instructions
The lock mechanism has a slight adjustment option.
Since the "Screw" has a tread at the end, to make a tighter fit, just screw the "Screw" a half or hole revolution in or out, to get the "Lock" closer or further from the mount.
