This is me having fun using MechDesigner - mechanism design software for engineers. I have joined the various limbs together as links in a multiple link mechanism - about 10 links - and also used 4 gear-pairs in a gear train to get the rhythm right. Downloaded the Limbs as STL files from here - but cannot find the orginal static model again - please let me know and I will make a note The orignal idea is inspired by some work by Disney Research. Unlike most animation, I can easily determine velocites and accelerations at any point in the links.
