This is my personal version of a Kinect handle. Some people ask me to share my mods, but sorry if this mod is complicated - it requires good DIY skills. WARNING: This isn't for beginners! You'll need to know that you have to remove the orientation base first. After doing so, your warranty will be void. Next, you must remove the ferrite protection underneath the Kinect and place it in the handle. There's a small hole at the bottom where you can attach a nut to secure the handle to a photo tripod. Place a screw to keep the nut in place and prevent epoxy from leaking out. Then, prepare some epoxy resin to fix the Kinect inside the handle's large hole - make sure to glue the nut in there as well.
