Another NP-FW50 Sony battery holder

Another NP-FW50 Sony battery holder

thingiverse

This is a remix from a very good holder for the Sony NP-FW50 lithium battery (see the original below). I really like the original but it's a little wider than the backpack pocket I'd like to put on. Also, I have only 4 batteries, being one always put in the camera thus one space always empty in the holder. As I like to go camping, space and weigth are critical so I decided to make one holder for only three batteries rotated 90 degrees. The holder is a little larger but half of width. The original was printed in Hatchbox Cool Gray PLA two years ago and it's still good. The new is printed with Solutech Camo Green PLA waiting for field test. Designed entirely for 3D printing. The only overhang is in the little cavity for the battery connector. No supports required in most cases. The latches are very difficult to brake but still flexible enough. You can insert the battery with the connector inside or outside (the latch does not collide) to remember witch baterries are full or depleted.
