This design is an attempt of converting mounting holes of 2.5 inch disk drive to 3.5 inch form factor. The SATA interface port should remain in the same place which is useful for upgrading your old ALL in One PC with a SATA port connector fixed. This work uses SFF-8200 and SFF-8300 specifications of 3.5" and 2.5" form factor drives. The hole in the middle of the detail is for storing one unused screw. Mostly it fills the space instead of fixing the drive, so be careful.
