This chain collection was modeled via personal vested time using available data from suppliers with information covering the overall dimensions and not the finer details that you'll see in them. Please don't assume that the finer details are accurate because I used excel to generate some of the features based from my own personal assumptions. The models should come in handy for drawing purposes such as when creating section views and other assembly illustrations. On another note.... As much as I favor good modeling practices I also prefer accurate detail drawings. The advantage of having an accurate model is that the drawing phase typically goes smoother. I.e.: No dimensional overrides. I loath NTS particularly when it involves model to drawing translation. If you find an error please let me know so I can fix it.
