I designed this nest to accommodate ants in a playful and practical way. It will be necessary to provide for : a transparent plexiglass pane of 1 to 2mm thick (10*15cm) a piece of cotton a piece of wool (5 cm) 2 pieces of filter grid, if possible made of stainless metal (mesh 50). Can be easily found on the internet for 3€. A grid prevents escape from the top of the nest, while allowing good ventilation and humidity regulation. The second grid protects the cotton against ant attacks.
