Antenna guard for Lumineer AXII

Antenna guard for Lumineer AXII

thingiverse

After flying my quad through some small tree branches and having the antenna snag and pull out of the fitting on the video board, I decided something had to be done. Like a weedless fishing lure, this should allow branches and leaves to not snag on the "lollypop" of the antenna. This weighs almost nothing -- in fact Cura shows 0g, and 0.10m of filament -- so it doesn't cause the antenna to bend down into the props. Print two, glue the halves to the coax butted up against the antenna. You can glue it to the antenna if you wish. OpenSCAD file is included if you want to modify the design. I made it for my Lumineer AXII antenna, but it should fit the coax of most antennas. Printing: Print wide end of the "Y" on the bed, upside-down from how it loads.
