To mount a bigger antenna at a 90 degrees angle to the OrangeRX OpenRLS transmitter module (JR 1W type), I created this custom cover. The u.FL coax pigtail with the SMA connector is fastened in the right position for mounting a SRH-771 (or similar 433 MHz antenna). The inside of the antenna mount has the hexagonal nut shape cut out for this purpose. Note: The picture shows holes for the pin headers but I left them out in the final design as the pins are sitting too deep to be useful. Note 2: You need to reverse the handlebar on your radio for the antenna to fit. It's an easy mod, just unscrew the 2 nuts on the inside. Instructions Print flat on the platform with supports Unscrew the original cover and remove the nut and washers from the SMA connector to free the coax cable Insert coax cable in the printed antenna mount and fasten with washers and nut from the outside Note: You need to reverse the handlebar on your radio for the antenna to fit. It's an easy mod, just unscrew the 2 nuts on the inside.
