There are a lot of ways to mount antennas on quads. I happened to have an antenna with U.FL connector for VTX, and a top mounted RX also made it more practical to have top mounted RX-antennas. I used only some cable ties and heat shrink tube in my first attempt, but soon discovered that they got shredded in the propellers on the first or second crash. I therefore created stiff supports for the antennas. I still use cable ties and heat shrink tube, but with these antenna support parts, they do not bend into the propellers. These are the files included: VTX antenna support: * baaten_VTXantholder02.stl - holds the VTX antenna in place. The VTX antenna is secured by cable ties to the antenna support in the rear. Preferably printed with PETG, strong PLA, ABS or similar. Supports may be necessary. RX antennas supports V1 (old): * baaten_RXantholder_right.stl * baaten_RXantholder_left.stl The RX-antennas are held in place with cable ties and heat shrink tube, and then taped with duct tape to the supports. Preferably printed with PETG, strong PLA, ABS or similar. RX antennas supports V2 (new) Each support consists of two parts: 1) a rigid base, preferably printed with PETG, strong PLA, Nylon, ABS or similar. There are two files for this: * B1_RXantholder_hardpart_R.stl * B1_RXantholder_hardpart_L.stl 2) A soft, flexible core that fits inside the base and extends above. This is preferably printed in TPU or similar. There is only one file for this. It fits inside both base parts, but you need to print two for a receiver with two antennas. Preferably print lying down (for strength) using medium flexible TPU: * B1_RXantholder_softcore_R.stl This new designeliminates the need to use a cable tie, and is a more stable solution. You still need heat shrink to attach the antenna to it.
