These anti-vibration mounting pins are a fantastic alternative to the M2.5 screws that secure the 30x30x7mm fan to the Raspberry Pi Techstatic active cooler. The fan is already remarkably quiet, but if you want to reduce noise and vibrations even further, these mounts are designed to mechanically isolate the fan from the heat sink as much as possible. Mounting is a straightforward process: Push the pin into the threaded hole of the heat sink, ensuring it sits straight. Twist clockwise until the pin is firmly in place.
