Anti vibration pad

thingiverse

Anti-vibration pads for things-that-make-noise. Designed to reduce vibrations traveling from things, into the surface they are on. Print with some flexible filament like filaflex etc. use double sided tape to fix to device, triangles pointing down. 2mm triangle width and 4mm height are a good starting point. Try different geometries if you want. You can use the customizer to make them in the size you need, or change the geometry in the advanced tab. The width is rounded down to fit the triangles on the surface, meaning if you put triangle base width at 2mm ,extrusion width (flat top) at 0.4mm, and overall width at 50x50mm, your resulting pad will be 50x48mm, because 2+0.4 = 2.4 and 50 / 2.4 = 20.8. So the surface will be rounded down to fit 20 triangles -> 2.4 x 20 = 48 (sorry for the photos, mt camera is unable to shoot black rubber) Print Settings Printer: Original Prusa I3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: - Infill: - Notes: print in flexible material at whatever size you want.
