Anycubic i3 Dual Z Endstop Fix
thingiverse
So I discovered my Anycubic i3 Dual not consistently homing because the Z endstop was sliding along the holes it's designed to be secured to. So I had 2 choices: Tighten the screws even more or print a suitable holder. In the instructions they even warned me not to fasten the screws too tight because the microswitch may break. That's why I went with the latter option and made a part that the switch fits in and which can be screwed down pretty tight (until the acrylic frame breaks). As an added benefit there's a small groove for the X motor's wire. Note before printing that I installed the adjustment screw the wrong way around, resulting in this holder being too high for a correctly inserted screw. I'm just too lazy to flip the screw around. Edit: Fixed the screw's orientation, it works either way.
