I took inspiration from the Dual-Sided Cooling Duct, but had a few issues with it, namely: * The bracket didn't fit my Mega-S properly * The ducts were fatter than they needed to be (imho) * The ducts weren't aligned quite to my liking The main issue I had with this, and other similar designs was that there were two separate problems being resolved in one design; the problem of attaching it securely to the existing fan (of which there appeared to be multiple designs due to changes between the printers), and the ducting being appropriate (i.e. good air-flow, etc). I didn't like having to print the whole thing again just because of a minor tweak to one aspect, especially if there was an issue with supports, etc. Also, because I'm screwing into the plastic directly, if I had to take it off for whatever reason, I should ideally print a new one for it to screw back properly, which is wasteful because the duct itself is fine. And finally, because of it's bulky nature, it became quite intrusive when I needed to fiddle around with the hot-end. So I redesigned the whole thing from scratch as two separate components; a bracket to attach to the fan itself, and the ducting which attaches magnetically to the bracket. This allows for: a) easy customisation/replacement of a specific part b) easy removal and restoration of the duct when required - I managed to iterate several variations of the ducting without having to dismantle the hotend assembly to screw the new version in, it just attaches from underneath... simples) I also wanted the ducting to be deliberately narrow, as this would force the air to blow harder, thus making the fan more efficient. This was designed to use 6mm/3mm neodymium magnets that should fit neatly within the slots. You might also want to ensure they use different polarities on each side so the duct will only fit on one way - makes it much easier to fit and align blindly. I've also added a collar to help it fit into the fan/bracket nicely, otherwise it used to sag because of the weight and allow air/pressure to escape. The newly designed one fits tightly and provides full airflow to the nozzle.
