Anycubic i3 Mega Hotend Rebuild

Anycubic i3 Mega Hotend Rebuild

This project started because I needed to increase reliability and maintainability of the Anycubic i3 Mega and Mega-S printers I use to make productions parts. The hardware frame of the printer is excellent, but the 8-bit control board and v5 hotend are outdated. Overall, the project will have a MKS TS35 display, a MKS Robin Nano V3.0 control board, a 24vdc Meanwell 350 watt power supply, stepper driver cooling, and a hotend rebuild with a more available cooling fan and a v6 hotend. A Marlin bugfix 2.0.x version customized for the MKS parts and the Anycubic hardware frame will also be uploaded. Of note, All the Anycubic wiring is used for this project. There will be some wires that need to be cut and terminated in the main chassis though. A few holes drilled and some of the old post mounts in the bottom cabinet will need to be cut off. What you will find here to start with is a rebuild of the hotend section. The rebuild has been finalized, so printed parts are done. Pictures will be added as soon as I can as well as a parts list.
