- A fairly extensive hack-job. This kind of fan does not blow evenly, rather they tend to blow in the direction of blade rotation, so mounting this fan horizontally not only makes it likely something will fall into the inlet, but it also means one side of the cowling will be getting almost all of the air. Mounting them vertically negates both of these completely. - Does not require supports in this supplied orientation. - NOTE: My hotend uses a non-standard heatbreak tube length, and i-forget-what sized heater block, so so It almost certainly will not work with generic setups. To be honest I don't even use this shroud any more so I don't know or really care. If you happen to have a bunch of different heatbreak lengths and heatblock sizes lying around then it shouldn't be too hard to figure out the right combination.
