I couldn't find a spool holder that would mount on TOP of my Kobra Max. So i made this. It will hold up to 75mm wide spools. (2)- M3x7-10mm screws (15mm length is bottom mount is used) (2)- M3 T-nuts (2) 608zz bearings The bottom mount is optional. I printed this in pla, but was worried the heat would warp it in my shed (have had pla warp before), so i made the bottom mount to fit snug on the top rail giving it more support. I mounted mine all the way to left above extruder, which places it partially on the Z rod stablizer(seen in pic) This spot gives it even more support, so i didn't need the bottom mount. 2 holes are for parallel mounting and 2 holes for perpendicular mounting. If you use direct drive, then using perpendicular mounting in the middle of the rail will work too. Bottom mount could add more support here as well. Maybe glue it to the top mount before screwing it down. I tested this on a 9hr print and it worked just fine. For rigidity, i set cura to 999 top layers to get complete 100% infill on all pieces. PetG is pretty rigid, but i've had pla printed spool holders eventually sag\warp.
