**The two object files in this thing**: 1. Laser module shroud: - Replaces the original 30mm fan with a ducted 40mm fan 2. Four parts for a ducted 97mm blower fan part cooler: - Hinged 97mm blower fan to hose adapter - Double hinged adapter, goes between Z axis mount and blower fan - Hinged Z axis zip tie mount for fan adapter - Hose ducted snap-on part cooler **Parts required**: 1. Laser shroud: - Any 40mm 12v fan w/screws - The original 30mm fan screws 2. Ducted part cooler kit: - One zip/cable tie (for Z mount) - Two short lengths of wire or 1.75mm filament with melted ends (for hinge pins) - [JB Kwik](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006O1ICY/) ($5) Note: use small dots of this epoxy for the fan adapter corners and part cooler standoffs, and a liberal amount on the inside of the ducted hose ends (or use worm-drive hose clamps). - [97mm blower fan](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FBP2ZM5/) ($9) - [Steel wire reinforced 1" ID tubing](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096RTKZ57/) ($23) **Details**: You'll need to put a dot of glue/epoxy on top of each small cylinder standoff (below and in front of the snap-on clamps), and then use the glue working time to adjust the part cooler until it's perfectly aligned with the Z axis/plane of the work surface below, then allow the glue to cure/dry. Those little cylinders on the part cooler should align with the bottom edge of the hotend metal housing, with the front/side cover removed. You can run wire from the new 97mm blower fan to the header/wires for the old 50mm blower fan, as the new fan draws only 0.06A more than the original at 100% speed. You will need to boil or hot-air gun the tubing, to shape it into a horseshoe/fish shape. I also replaced the original hotend fan with [two Noctua 40x10mm fans](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009NQLT0M/), one ducted (in push/pull: left side draws in room air, while ducted right side exhausts warm hotend air): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4933321/files (the "guide" object) Although probably not needed with all the air flow, I've coated both the part cooler and the hotend exhaust duct/guide with [aluminum foil tape](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JD4PTML/), as a heatsink/heat shielding, to safeguard the PLA from warping.
