Update 12th of May 2021: adapted the fan duct for better stability. It previously warped due to the glue and heat from the hot end. This version is more resilient. This is a bracket and 5015 fan duct to mount an E3D Hemera direct drive extruder to an Anycubic Mega X. Some holes are intended to be filled with threaded inserts, so you'll need 6 M3 ones and one M5 insert. You'll need to extend the motor wires and sensor wires as well to make it work. I just placed the sensor freely above the PTFE tube, the cables and filament keep it in place. You may need to adapt the hole diameters to your threaded inserts, as well as the height of the mounting holes and the X limit sensor height to adapt to your printer. The PCB is placed between the two horns poking out of the front and everything is plugged in there just like the original setup. If you want, you can cut out a piece of the bracket where the heater block is located so that it can be rotated and disassembled without removing the whole bracket. If the bracket height does not fit your printer (i.e. too low), either raise the bracket mounting holes and the X sensor nubbin on the left (approx. 10-12mm depending on your setup) in the CAD model or lower the Z end stop screws on your printer. BOM: 1x M5 threaded insert, 4-5mm height for the lower X-carriage wheel 6x M3 threaded insert, 4-5mm height for mounting the Hemera motor and radial fan 4x M3 screw with conical head, max. 8mm total length for mounting the Hemera motor 4x M3 screw with rounded or cylindrical head, max. 8mm thread length to fasten the bracket to the back plate of the printer 1x M3 screw with 20mm thread length for the radial fan 1x M3 screw with 25mm thread length for the radial fan and its duct 1x 5015 radial fan soldering iron, different wire colors and solder for the cable extensions
