Heating with thermostat for Anycubic Mono X This project was strongly inspired by the x3msnake model. His 3D model for Photon S is probably better designed than mine, don't hesitate to check out his project! Link to the x3msnake model : link. And his Youtube video: link PS : here is a video using his model : link Since I don't have a metal case like on the Photon S (and not having the same thermostat), I wanted to recreate a 3D model. Here, the thermostat screen is oriented upwards for easier reading because the heater is placed on the base of the printer (using a magnet, the threaded holes of the base of the mono X are magnetized). WARNING Don't print these files in PLA, I didn't try with ABS, but it should work, the resin is much more appropriate for this kind of application. The heating module has a power of 100W and could deform the PLA. Use cables of the right section to power the heating element. Operating at 12V, the current can reach 8.5A. To determine the right section of cable to use, here is a table: link Materials required : Thermostat 12V 10A W3230 link or link Power supply 12V 10A or higher link or link DC099 5.5x2.1mm jack connector supporting 10A link or link Heating element 12V 100W + Fan link Neodymium magnets 20x3mm (2 magnets needed) link or link Wire of the right section (I used 18AWG 16 cores cable, supposed to be able to support 5A, so I doubled it to 10A and everything is ok, no abnormal heating). If you have other cable sections, please refer to this link. Heating with thermostat for Anycubic Mono X This project was strongly inspired by the x3msnake model.
