Anycubic Vyper PSU and Mainboard Silent mods (120mm fans)

cults3d

Anycubic Vyper setup for most silent PSU and mainboard fan's. You will need to replace the metal cover for the steppers + add a small buck converter (if your 120 mm fans are not 24v) and some 3 or 4mm bolts + nuts (locknuts recommended) You will need to take off the cover plate for the PSU, and take off the top plate of the PSU (simple metal part, where the 60mm noisy fan is located) and replace with a printed part. This will need 2 pcs of T-slot nuts (you can print some and put in some nuts, as alternative), buck converter (as the other fan, if not 24V) A threadworker to create 3mm and 4mm thread in the holes of the printed part, is an advantage (else you need to have patient and add a bit force). And you need to print some leg extender (minimum 15mm for 120x120x15 fans, or 25mm for 120x120x25 fans), you can find them on thingiverse. Optional you can find some 120mm fan covers, if you like (not nessesary). As the original YCCFANs are designed for approx 45 CFM of air, I will recommend to find something similar for the 120mm.
