The solder reel i had didn't fit onto the standard holder as the core diameter was too small. This holder will allow the use of reels with a 13mm core diameter to be used on the standard Aoyue 936 & 937 soldering iron stand. It is made in 2 pieces which then screw together through the core of the reel.
