Apollo Launch Pad for Micro Maxx rockets
This is actually a 'launch pad adapter' that can also be used as a display stand for your Micro Maxx. It's designed for the [Micro Maxx Saturn V](https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-QUEST-MICRO-MAXX-SET-READY-TO-FLY-MODEL-2-ROCKET-SHUTTLE-SET-NASA-EDITION/173893322191) but as you can see it works well with the Space Shuttle. By adapter - I mean the pad can slide down a typical 1/8" launch pad rod allow you to use that as the stand for the launch pad. There is an opening in the base for the engine exhaust to pass through the bottom. For display, you insert the "Display pin" into the tower boom (you can even add some filament for the lightning rod on top of the boom). For launch, you lift the tower boom off the Micro Maxx rod and swing it to the side (like a real launch profile) I use CA glue to attach the tower to the base. The launch pad will require a Micro Maxx 3/34" sized launch rod. (about 11" or so) If you feel like tweaking the model here is the [Fusion 360 link](https://a360.co/2Mr28Rg) Stay tuned - I plan to design up a complete "Man in space" fleet of Micro Maxx rockets
