Apple 2e disk II to Mini Mac Case conversion kit parts

If you like my models please consider supporting me on Patreon : https://www.patreon.com/bigmrtong Parts enable conversion of a disk II 5-1/4" external floppy drive to hold an Intel Mini mac and have the drive work through the slot etc macfrontlift – This is a small strip of a very particular size to sit under the black front facia which used to be held by the drive internals. – I did 100% fill macfrontdriveflsp – The slots push fit into the back of the drive flap (pictured) to stop it falling out of its hinge. It again it normally attached to the drive innards. I did 50% fill macfrontboardmount – This again is a very specific size to hold the mini mac on and above the base so the CD drive slot matches with the floppy slot. I attached the motherboard to this with silicone. – Printed 40% fill macfrontrear – Optional as you will have to cut off the rear aluminium plate to use it. Allows the cable to go through and fan to vent, with a cutout for a cheap ebay push to make switch for power. Printed with 25% fill. The mac mini LED wire can be spliced to the “in use” red LED infront of the drive and will work ! The Power switch wires in to the rear switch for power and reset. It’s then self-contained. PLEASE DON’T DO THIS WITH WORKING OLD DRIVES ! I obtained this one broken and infact rusty inside from a garden shed !
