Apple 30-pin Dock Connector Cable Strain Relief

Apple 30-pin Dock Connector Cable Strain Relief

thingiverse

This is a new design for an Apple 30-pin dock connector cable strain relief inspired by KJ1I's [strain relief](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3032085), which looked a little too tall for the connector on the cable that came with my iPad 2. I also wanted to add a flare to protect the cable. There have been a few variations of the official dock connector cable - if the white part on yours is about 9 mm tall, then this strain relief should work for you. Print both parts upright with a brim. If you enable bridging settings in Cura, you won't need supports. Mine fits a little loose around the connector itself, so I added some tape to thicken it. You might have to print a few percent smaller to get a tighter fit - please let me know how it goes.
