UPDATE 3: I'm calling this probably the final version. Tolerances have been reworked such that a friction fit for the lightning connector will likely work for you. If you prefer a more positive lock, there is now a hole for a M3x15 socket cap set screw. Keep in mind that using the set screw WILL put a small dimple in the soft lightning connector plastic. I recommend threading the screw in until you see it just come flush with the cable pathway. Then put in and position your cable. A quarter turn to just barely snug the set screw should be sufficient. The woodfill prints pictured are at .2mm and 100% infill, which gives this a nice heavy feel that won't move around on the desk too much. Lastly, an M3x15 will hang out about 1mm or so from the hole. To get the fit pictured, I cut off a bit, probably more like an M3x13 now. UPDATE 2: A new version is forthcoming that includes a place for an M3 set screw to firmly hold the cable end in place rather than using friction alone. UPDATE: Third revision - no longer requires supports A charging dock for the Apple AirPods case. Leave the case on your desk in it's little dock, and it's always charged. Also can hold the case upright and open so if you take out the earbuds you can quickly stow them.
