Apple EarPod Wrapper

Apple EarPod Wrapper

thingiverse

Designed specifically for the Apple EarPods as supplied on many earlier iPhones, including the inline mike/switch. For a wrapper designed for older Apple earbuds, see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13678. For an earbud holder that can be used for all earbuds including those with and without mikes and with jacks or lightening connectors, see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:21858 Instructions The rear clip builds separately from the body and is glued to the back in the position shown. The .stl files are supplied as just the main body, as just the clip, and as the two combined. In my machine printing items separately results in less cleanup; your milage may vary. Start the wrap by dropping the EarPods in their respective holes (they only fit one way). Take the cables down under the top lip and to the left. Hook them into the left slot, up and over the EarPods, down through the top right slot and continue though the bottom slot. The mike should now lie across the back of the wrapper. Bring the cables down through the opposite slot and wrap the cables to the right and around the spool. When the cable reaches its end, the plug should be near the last slot on the rear. Hook the cable into the slot and snap the plug into its holder. Remove the plug by pushing on the metal end, grabbing it at the cable end, and pulling it out of its holder. BY THE WAY… I’m glad to freely share my designs, though if you print it and are pleased with the result I would be tickled pink if you returned here and left a small tip!
