Overview ======= This print is a VERY simple flat piece of PLA with holes so it can be hand sewn into a standard hand or machine sewn mask. The bridge closes the gap between the nose and cheek to allow for a better fit and to increase the air traveling through the mask rather than around the mask. There are sewing patterns all over the internet for these masks. Sewing Instructions =============== Simply sew the straight/flat print along the top edge of the mask before you sew them shut. You can even just sew it to the outside of a mask that you already have. The holes in the print allow sewing in multiple locations. You don't need to sew through every hole. Three of four locations will hold just fine.. Forming Instructions ================ Once the mask is complete take an iron on the LOWEST setting and slowly iron over the printed insert. Do not touch the iron directly to the insert, always have a layer of cloth between the iron and the insert. Check every few seconds until the plastic is very flexible, the best description I can come up with is that it will feel like a piece of cooked pasta. Once the insert feels like "cooked pasta" just put the mask over your nose and form the print to your nose and cheek.
