I modded the iPad Pro mount to use on a flat surface and attach the arms and phone mount. My daughter is using it to record time-lapse videos of her drawings. I had to make the mount bigger and the clamps taller than the original to accommodate the 12.9" Pro. The sliding side of the clamp needed the knob cutout fixed as well. The files for the knob, screw, nut and phone mount side can be found in https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2194278/files You may need one of these as well, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2949373 I printed at 40% infill for added heft. You can probably do 20% without issues.
