Took inspiration from this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/ec2c9j/i_stole_apples_old_wire_handling_technique_and_3d/ and made my own mac-style cable collector for the surface charger. It has foldable hooks, prints in place and requires no supports. You may have to pry the hooks away from the rest of the print with a thin knife. Also the hook hinges are not very strong (3D printed vertical cylinders). So, let me know if you experience any major problems! Because if so I might make a version allowing for a metal pin to be dropped in. Please take a look at the print settings as the gap between the hooks and the rest of the print is just 0.16mm. If you can't make it work you can always ask for help. Edit 2/6/2020: added step and Fusion 360 files. Edit 2/18/2020: I noticed just how weak vertically printed cylinders are, so I added a Mk2 version that uses filament as the cylinder in the hinge! Just pop a piece of loose filament through the top of the piece, glue or melt it in place, and you are done. Edit 2/26/2020 Replaced the Mk2 with Mk3 that has better joint limits. Also expect a Mk4 in the future with stronger joint limits and maybe a clip that holds the connector. Edit 6/1/2020 Added latest step files.
