Apple Wireless Keyboard case

I designed this case for the Model A1314 Apple Wireless Keyboard third generation but it will probably fit others. If there is interest I could do one for the Magic Keyboard. I designed it to be compact, add a fair amount of protection and not use too much filament.

WARNING...this will only work if the printing instructions are followed. It is a thin wall design using a solid model. Important, one of the two sides will need to be mirrored before slicing.

The print time per side is 4hr 19min. Each side uses 10.81m, about 32g. The size on the print bed is 114.4x105.3x154

Print instructions

Category: Computer Print Settings

Printer: Anet A8

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.25mm

Infill: 0%

Notes:

Using Cura 2.3

Mirror one of the two pieces prior to slicing.

Shell
-wall line count, 1
-Top Layer, 0
-Bottom layer, 4
Infill
-0%
Material
-Print Temperature, 183C
-Build Plate Temperature, 60C
-Flow, 108%
-Enable retraction, yes
-Retraction distance, 4.5
-Retraction speed, 60mm/s
Speed
-Print, 30mm/s
Travel
-Combing mode, off
Build Plate adhesion
-Skirt, yes
-Count, 4
-Distance, 2
Mesh Fix
-Keep disconnected faces, Off
