The speedometer needle on my Aprilia Habana was brittle after a couple of decades in the sun, and one day it broke. I created the needle in SketchUp and had someone print it for me. The finished product is shown in the photo. This was printed in ABS, and it did require a bit of careful drilling with a 2mm bit to get to work. The length of the needle is 32 mm.
