<p>In 2022 Aqara introduced their thermostat radiator valves, although they have a nice design the front button sometimes tend to be pressed by mistake when rotating the knob or just by inserting the cover, this might cause the valve to act unexpectedly, it might activate or deactivate the child lock or it might reset itself getting deleted from the hub.</p><p>To solve this, you can disable the front button inserting a separator under the black ring that keeps the screen in place. This is a step by step tutorial on how to do it.</p><p>Step 1. You need to print the parts in a resin 3d printer, sadly the tolerances are to small for a FDM printer.</p><p><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/301263/rich_content/8a71a1b3-c597-468b-b19e-3d89334bdef4/tempimagefjqhr4.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%228eabe0aa-1f57-4c18-9e19-25ec5339a39c%22%2C%22w%22%3A4032%2C%22h%22%3A3024%7D"></p><p>Step 2. Install TRV back, insert the batteries and put the cover.</p><p>Now, if you try to press the screen button it doesn't work, we have successfully deactivated the front button.&nbsp;</p>
