Aquaponic/Hydroponic Mazzei-Type Aerator

Save energy in your aquaponic or hydroponic setup. Use your already running water pump to inject air as well! This was designed after the simple yet genius Mazzei design used on industrial water supply refineries. Not sure if I could upload videos but this thing does add a nice amount of air. I use clear hoses...they are all gunked up but after the aerator there is clearly a bunch of small bubbles. Occlude the aerator and they go away. This is also used for injection of certain nutrients when coupled with your metering system.
