Aquarium Air Lift

Aquarium Air Lift

prusaprinters

This is the air lift for the Matten Filter I designed and posted earlier. This prints with no supports as the hex shape gives plenty of bed adhesion if your printer is dialed in correctly. It is sized to print even on the less expensive 200x200 bed printers, just rotated 45° to one side or the other.

The hex airtube holder and the hex lip support print separately and are a press fit. If your printer produces a lot of elephants foot, then trim that off for a sung sliding fit. They are snug enough to stay where you put them.

Print with PETG as PLA will NOT hold up in an aquarium. You have been warned.

Make sure your printer is calibrated for good bridging performance. The bridging distance here is quite small, but still... things look better dialed in.

Run the standard 6MM OD air tube down to the slot provided, clip the excess in the hex air tube holder, and drop in the tank behind the Matten Filter.

With the proper amount of air, this can move a HUGE amount of water.

Print Settings

Printer:

Artillery X1 Sidewinder V4

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.3

Infill:

10%

Filament:
Overture PETG PETG
Doesn't matter

Category: Pets
