Aquarium Filter

Aquarium Filter

thingiverse

This is a back filter for 45 - 90 liter aquarium. I glued everything together with CA glue (it has to be totally sealed in order to work properly) and then the whole structure to the back glass with aquarium silicon. I have printed the filter with PLA as it is "biodegradable" thus does not leave chemical wastes in the water. Do not worry that it will indeed biodegrade in the water as for this to happen it should be over 60 degrees Celsius + be in high pressure environment + special bacteria must be present thus it won't have any issue. *Update* I added a biological media basket that goes inside the biological media chamber and makes it easier to maintain the media.
