Aquarium Trim Float Valve Mount

Aquarium Trim Float Valve Mount

This is a solid two part design for a simple ATO on an aquarium where the water level is near the rim. I have used this on several tanks for a couple years now. I use nGen/PETG plastic. Don't use PLA. To use the Sketchup file, simply copy the "ungrouped" model and change the sizes to fit around the trim. You essentially need to take the measurements of the full profile of the trim, from the outside glass to the inside glass. Print a 2mm slice of each side to test your sizing! The Sketchup file contains a bonus ATO for a sump, it requires an L made of acrylic and some nylon nuts/bolts, see the design for sizing. NOTE: Print an L at your own risk, it has a high chance of breaking, thus creating a big, wet mess.
