These lids are for Reliance Aquatainer 70mm spigot assembly with a 1/2" NPT, 3/4" NPT, or blank for drilling and tapping your own fitting. Uses standard 2-3/4" silicone seals for regular-mouth mason jars. The 1/2"NPT and 3/4" NPT pre-threaded caps may need to be tapped with appropriate tapping die for proper fit and function. HAZARD STATEMENT: Using this fitting for potable water is potentially hazardous due to the potential for chemical leeching and bacterial contamination. If using for potable water sources, avoid leaded brass nozzles and use only food safe filaments that can be sterilized between each use. **TABLE OF CONTENTS** - Included Files - Additional Hardware - Printing Details **Included Files** - Readme.txt - Reliance Aquatainer Cap for 0.5in NPT.stl and .step - Reliance Aquatainer Cap for 0.75in NPT.stl and .step - Reliance Aquatainer Cap Blank.stl and .step **Additional Hardware** - 2-3/4" silicone seals for regular-mouth mason jars - NPT Tapping die of appropriate size **Printing Details** - Material: Fiberlogy CPE-HT recommended. - Parameters: Layer height: 0.25mm Wall thickness: 1.8mm Top and bottom thickness: 1.2mm Infill: 40% gyroid for prethreaded, 100% lines for the blank. - No supports, no brim, no raft - STL'S are oriented and scaled correctly for printing, just drop on build plate and slice. - Calibrate flow using the 2-wall method (shown at https://3dprintbeginner.com/flow-rate-calibration/), round up to the nearest whole number and add 1%. For example if the calculated value is 97.4%, round up to 98% and add 1% to make 99%. Put 99% into the flow setting on your printer or slicer. - Calibrate dimensions using my sizing calibration worksheet found here (download and then edit): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uzxgxDTHeHwxTcNySJS7T-__f5-2h0hM/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=103628261456516391499&rtpof=true&sd=true This work is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial.
