**WARNINGS FIRST** **3D PRINTED OBJECTS RUN THE RISK OF PLASTIC ENTERING COMPONENTS, BECOMING MOLTEN, AND CAUSING CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE. TEST YOUR EQUIPMENT THOROUGHLY TO CHECK FOR PLASTIC COMING OFF YOUR PRINT. USE THIS HOLDER AT YOUR OWN RISK** **I RECOMMEND USING A FILAMENT WITH HIGH-HEAT TOLERANCE. MY USE OF PLA IS FOR PROTOTYPING PURPOSES ONLY.** **THIS IS UNTESTED UNDER RANGE CONDITIONS. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL FALL APART WITH HEAVY USE. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY CYCLES THIS WILL HOLD YOUR MAG BEFORE RETENTION IS LOST. DON'T TRUST YOUR LIFE TO THIS WITHOUT THOROUGH TESTING.** **INCOMPATABLE WITH STANDARD AR-15 SHEET METAL MAGAZINES** This is a friction-retention AR-15 magazine holster with MOLLE/BELT clips. It can take a magazine in either direction. It is optimized for attachment to standard MOLLE straps as you would see on a backpack. There are two holes for attaching bungee cord for enhanced retention. There are drain holes along the bottom. I've tested this with loaded, 30 rnd Gen 2 Hexmags. I have no data on other plastic magazines. An original style metal magazine I have did not fit. The fit so far is very snug but acceptably removeable, I have no data on loosening over time. I printed this at a 36 degree angle away from the clips (as depicted). Printing this in the vertical position will reduce the strength of the MOLLE clips. If you print this with other materials or print orientations, or test with other magazines, please leave details in the comments.
