AR-6 Stinger 2 magazine cover with Picatinny

Since my original magazine cover was not straight (see pictures) and the clamp which holds the cover shut was also not straight, I decided to design a magazine cover with a picatinny mounting rail for a sight. With the original part aiming was not relaiable. This part features the standard sizes for a picatinny rail. When I printed the first version it fitted well. A bit to well. The clamp was dificult to open. The measurements were to tight, so I changed some measurements. I made two versions. One uses tap holes for M3 for the spring which you just have to tap in the scews from the original cover (AR-6_stinger2_magazine_cover_picatinny.stl). The second version has bigger holes (4mm) for melting in M3 brass threads (AR-6_stinger2_magazine_cover_picatinny_M3_brass_inserts.stl). With this option you need M3 brass thread inserts and M3 screws. I think with a bit tweaking on the settings you can achieve a better result than I did. The sight shown on the picture is just an example to show that the picatinny clamps are fitting. For this rail a red dot / reflex sight would be a better choice.
