A1-length thumbhole buttstock for AR-15 and Airsoft M4 gas blowback (GBB) rifles. Universal fit for rifle, commercial carbine, and mil-spec carbine buffer tubes. For installation on rifle buffer tubes, an upper buttplate screw is required and might need to be shortened for full buffer travel. For installation on carbine buffer tubes, you will need a nylon- or brass-tipped 1/4"-20 set screw and long hex wrench. Apply pressure while driving set screw to form threads. A standard grip screw, washer, and lock washer are also required. You might need to elongate the grip screw hole in the stock for proper fit. UPDATED 01/07/2019: Corrected outer contours. Additional 0.5mm gap fill at grip and shifted selector detent spring hole. Enlarged selector lever cutout. Grip screw hole elongated. Added shorter versions for use with carbine buffer tubes. UPDATED 12/19/2018: (DO NOT USE - Outer contours applied incorrectly.) Fill 2mm gap forward of grip, relocated selector detent spring hole and grip screw, added ambi selector lever cutouts, narrowed grip mount, added sling loop mount hole and bottom screw hole (use a custom/shortened screw or another upper buttplate screw).
